Why is China stocking up on food? The answer may be an economic one and related to Chinese imports, not war with Taiwan. It sounds counter-intuitive and doesn’t make sense. Why is China stockpiling food while there’s rice oversupply? It wouldn’t happen elsewhere, but in communist China, it would and did. The reasons behind the Chinese stockpiling are complex.
