During General Zhang Youxia’s mysterious 8-day disappearance after his silent visit to Moscow, Beijing was anything but calm. Behind closed doors, Xi Jinping and Peng Liyuan allegedly attempted to break the PLA alliance by persuading Liu Yuan to turn against Zhang — only to be confronted with a shocking recording. This episode uncovers the deeper struggle for control inside China’s military, Zhang’s top-secret mission to Russia, and the growing signs that power may be shifting away from Xi. In this video, I reveal what really unfolded in Beijing while the general was away.
